
“ANTARMAN 2025”: LLDIMS Celebrates the Reel and Real Through Creative Student Expression
The campus of Lingaya’s Lalita Devi Institute of Management and Sciences (LLDIMS) buzzedwith creative energy on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, as the Department of Journalism and MassCommunication successfully hosted its annual inter-college film festival, “ANTARMAN2025.” This year’s festival, centered around the compelling theme of “Reel vs Reality,”provided a vibrant platform for budding artists and storytellers from across various colleges toshowcase their unique talents and perspectives. The one-day extravaganza witnessed enthusiastic participation in a diverse array of competitiveevents, each designed to explore the intricate relationship between cinematic portrayals and thecomplexities of real life. Students enthusiastically engaged in: The festival was honored by the presence of esteemed guests: Chief Guest, Dr. Kumar Jigeeshu,Assistant Professor at the College of Art, New Delhi, and Guest of Honour, Prof. Dr. DurgeshTripathi, Professor and Dean, USMC MOOCs, GGSIPU, New Delhi. A truly special aspect of “Antarman 2025” was the significant involvement of the department’salumni. Distinguished graduates from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communicationreturned to their alma mater and played a crucial role in the judging process alongside the ChiefGuest. Their presence served as an invaluable bridge between academia and industry, as theyshared their experiences and insights with the current students. In a heartwarming gesture, thealumni also had the honor of recognizing the talent by presenting certificates to the participants,and were themselves acknowledged for their continued support with certificates ofappreciation.Prof. Dr. Pranav Mishra, Director of LLDIMS, expressed his delight at the successful executionof “Antarman 2025,” reiterating the institute’s commitment to nurturing young talent andproviding practical exposure in journalism, mass communication, and related fields.
